Reflecting on the busted task.

Both the Busted and Lip sync videos showed to me my current capabilities in working in groups of both one other person and large groups of 9 or more.

Looking back at the lip sync video, our preperation and execution of the video was as simple as the task itself. Not much preperation was needed, as only a few lines of lyrics needed too be learnt and only one spare lesson to film with college-supplied cameras. If, however we were too do this activity again, i'd suggest more time to practise the lip sync technique itself infront of a live camera. One hour to both practise and complete i did not feel was enough to create a realistic lip sync effect.

During filming this busted video I feel the editing process went very well, our group worked well as a team and we finished in reasonable time. We first made a list of all the shots we wanted to use then imported them and put them in order on the time line, with the help of our picture story board and finally will chose certain members from our team or the cast.

Although  I think if we had used the picture story board from he start of the process it would have saved us time. The many different tools available on premiere (such as, the razor icon and the zoom in and zoom out) came in extremely useful as they allowed us to cut out parts of shots we did not need accurately in order to get the lip synch just right.

The new cameras are defiantly easier to use and are much quicker. During production I learnt that to listen to all members of the team is very important and to correct peoples mistakes to make sure you get the perfect shot. It is also best to try different angles and shoot the different shots a number of times so you have some variety when editing.
